The Ole Miss Football Team has endured a season of many ups and downs this fall. The Rebels found themselves with a seven and three record going into their last two games against LSU and Mississippi State. These final two games are no ordinary games though, The Magnolia Bowl and The Egg Bowl both include an old rivalry, to each their own, along with a sought after trophy for the winning team.
Ole Miss played in The Magnolia Bowl November 21st, completing with a 38 to 17 victory. Following the win, the University was let out for Thanksgiving break, but that did not keep the team from their practice and dedication to finish out the season strong. On November 28th, the Rebels competed in the Egg Bowl against "that team down south" to finish with a 38 to 27 victory and a nine and three season. The Rebels now look forward to a bowl game appearance this offseason.
