Police Officers in Oxford join the no-shave movement this month in hope of spreading cancer awareness and raising funds for cancer research. This hairy trend is nothing new, but it wasn't until within the last 10 years that one family changed it's meaning. Now the movement grows every year, with more people joining and more rules to follow.

OPD isn't the only one to jump on the bandwagon. Many other police departments put their razors down as well. Close to home, the Jackson Police Department surpassed their fundraising goal for this year's No-Shave November. The movement seems to be really taking off and Major Jeff McCutchen of Oxford Police Department says his officers are already talking about continuing with don't shave December.

Madison Heil has more on the story, here.
