OXFORD, Miss. -- As the holiday season kicks off, festive lights are emerging across the United States and college students are contributing. Despite being on a budget away from family at college, Ole Miss students still enjoy getting in the holiday spirit, as it shows in their decorations across the town of Oxford.

Learning holiday lights can rack up with expensive price tags, students have began the holiday decorating. With some houses sporting holiday lights poking friendly fun at other opposing schools or a house just sporting a  decorative figure; the decorations are left to the student's imaginations.
