Nub Sanders: A Forgotten Ole Miss Legend

Ole Miss has plenty of football legends, whether it be Eli and Archie with their records, Chucky Mullins with his legacy or Coach Vaught with his three championships. Many players and coaches have captured the fans' love on Saturdays in the fall. But what fans don't see is all of the work that goes into getting the players ready for each game.

For 33 years, William "Nub" Sanders was Ole Miss's equipment manager. Nub was apart of 3 national championships, 5 SEC titles and countless bowl games.

Born with cerebral palsy, Nub overcame all odds to be able to walk. But he never let his disability get in the way of his aspirations.
