Davis Rogers breaks the mold of a typical student body president

Davis Rogers will graduate two weeks from now as one of the most involved students in the class of 2015. Whether it be as the pledge educator for his fraternity Sigma Nu, the Associated Student Body president, or having a 4.0 GPA while studying physics and biology Davis will be remembered as a man of many talents.

During his presidency Davis had to fight the perception that he was your typical white male ASB president. After Davis's successful term as president, he now once again has to prove that he is not typical in any way shape or form on his path to getting into medical school. What makes Davis's journey more compelling is his thesis research on Nebulization. David Kennedy has more on the story.

ANCHOR INTRO

DAVIS ROGERS IS ONE OF THE MOST INVOLVED STUDENTS IN HIS GRADUATING CLASS. HE WAS THE PLEDGE EDUCATOR FOR HIS FRATERNITY SIGMA NU, ASSOCIATED STUDENT BODY PRESIDENT, AND A FOUR-POINT-O BIOLOGY AND PHYSICS STUDENT. WHEN DAVIS GRADUATES IN A COUPLE WEEKS HE WILL NOT BE FOLLOWING THE TYPICAL PATH A FORMER ASSOCIATED STUDENT BODY PRESIDENT TAKES. DAVID KENNEDY HAS THE STORY.
