Handy Andy Grocery: a family tradition

J.Q. Carwyle serves a customer at the cash register at
Handy Andy Grocery on Nov. 8  2014.
Sue Carwyle, wife of the late Richard "Handy Andy" Carwyle and current owner of Oxford's Handy Andy Grocery has successfully run the local restaurant for 28 years. In almost three decades of ownership, her immediate family as well as her restaurant family has experienced loss, laughs and lifelong friendships.

Enjoying one of the restaurant's signature pulled pork sandwiches on an Ole Miss game day is regarded by Grovers as a must do while in the city. Carwyle said it has been a huge honor and responsibility providing quality, "made-from-scratch" food for the Oxford community.
