Still got the Blues



World-renowned Blues Archive celebrates 25 years! When the University of Mississippi opened its blues archive to the public in 1984, it was on its way to becoming 'the finest of its kind in the world. The J.D. Williams Library is home to the the blues archive located in special collections.


Every year blues fan's from around the world visit to see The Ole Miss Blues Archives. the exhbit runs for a whole year, August 2010 will have been a year and is when the exhbit will close. The Blues Archive has been growing for the last two decades. The collection even has B.B.Kings personal record collection; donated by himself. The blues collection includes Blues authors, artist and musicians original recordings.
