The Mississippi White Knights Talk About the Klan Today

The Mississippi White Knights are a small group of 20 members of the national group the Ku Klux Klan. There are 13 states total in the United States that have chapters. The Klan does have a violent past, the last lynching was of Michael Donald in 1981 in Mobile, AL.

The Klan today is trying to show that it has changed and do not burn crosses in people's yards or kill anyone. They are more concerned with speaking at rallies. Bill Reid, one of the interviewees, left the Alabama chapter because of the violence.
