The Subway franchise is the largest restaurant chain in North America and the Subway at The University of Mississippi only adds to its nation wide reputation. Since it opened in the fall of 2010, it has averaged over 6,000 customers a week and holds the title for highest grossing store in it's region. Although Ole Miss continues to increase meal options on campus through Aramark, Subway still reigns supreme as most students number one choice. In a recent poll, out of 24,000 Subway locations in the United States, The University of Mississippi Subway was ranked 12th in sales. This is just the kind of success that Aramark was looking for when orginally deciding to open the restaurant. Subway's Ole Miss location manager, Kyle F. Brown, says that an overwhelming amout of students voiced a longing to see a Subway on campus, so Aramark delivered.
